The All-in-All

This poem discusses the immanence and omnipresence of God. In other words, God is in everything and he is everywhere.

Can your theological tome
Really be God’s place or home?
The whole universe cannot embrace
God’s reality within time and space

But each tiny grain of sand
That you hold within your hand
And each molecule and atom
Can God’s nature truly fathom

For the Whole is within each part
And everything shares God’s heart
In God there are no gaps or holes
For God is the Soul within all souls

And those who limit God to a sect
Cannot God’s will and wisdom reflect
For creation, once awakened, continues its song:
“Praise to the All-in-All, for in Him we belong”
